Industry support for PhD students
LEC is currently supporting over 5 funded PhD students thanks to industry collaboration and the cross research council initiative – Industrial CASE (Collaborative Award in Science and Engineering) studentship.

Lancaster University’s links with China have been strengthened with a formal collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Inventya Ltd move into LEC to deliver consultancy on Eco-Innovation
Inventya Ltd, a specialist commercialisation, market intelligence consultancy firm have recently won a tender from the Lancaster Environment Centre to be a delivery partner on the North West Eco-Innovation Programme.
