Research Summary

Clare is a Senior Research Associate working on the MOPS2 project (mops2.diffusepollution.info). Clare’s interests in hydrology and water quality led her to undertake a PhD at the University of Sheffield into hillslope phosphorus transfer. For the past 5 years, Clare has been undertaking applied research with the aim of reducing diffuse pollution from agriculture, with particular focus on practical cost-effective mitigation approaches, such as field wetlands. Her current areas of interest include diffuse pollution mitigation, catchment management, and sediment and nutrient dynamics.
