Dr Jessica Davies
Research Associate
Research Summary
Research interests include hydrological flow and transport processes involving preferential flow pathways, non-stationary water residence times and storage-discharge hysteresis - all of which are investigated in the Multiple Interacting Pathways model which I develop. I am interested in expanding this methodology to other applications such as pollutant and nutrient fluxes, weathering, sedimentary transport, and plant-water interactions.
Wider interests include: process modelling; control systems design; multi-agent systems; and scientific programming on graphical processor units.
