Research Summary
My research addresses the sources, fate, behaviour and impacts of organic contaminants in the environment. I aim to understand the global scale source-distribution-sink of compounds and investigate inter-media contaminant transfers (air-water-soil etc). We investigate the relationship between use and release of a chemical and its levels in tissue in humans and wildlife. I develop and deploy passive sampling techniques to monitor chemicals in space and time. I address chemical and resource management and enjoy working with international collaborators, government, policy makers, industry and business.
