Dr Paul Young

Lecturer

Research Summary

I am a climate scientist, using data from computer models and observations to understand the composition and climate of the atmosphere, and how that all relates to the Earth system. I've worked on stratospheric and tropospheric ozone modelling, multi-model analyses, biosphere-atmosphere links, analysing temperature data and modelling novel pollutants. I am a contributing author for the IPCC 5th Assessment Report.

If you’re interested in Earth system models, atmospheric chemistry, climate changes, multi-model studies, and uncertainty, I’d love to hear from you. You can find more information here, add me on twitter, academia.edu, or drop me an email.
