Alumni MSc student wins best postgraduate poster at VMSG 2013 Conference
Congratulations to recent LEC MSc graduate John Browning, who was awarded the Geoff Brown prize for best postgraduate poster presentation at the Volcanic and Magmatic Studies Group (VMSG) 2013 conference in Bristol for his research on vesiculation of rhyolitic melt. Click

Award of Masters funding
Ricky Dunn, who is studying on the 2-year International MSc for Environmental Science and Technology programme, has been awarded a £500 scholarship from FindAmasters.com under the heading of Masters in Physical and Chemical Sciences Postgraduate Funding Award 2012. As one of LEC's alumni, he became passionate about the effects of chemical pollution on the environment and human health, while studying for his undergraduate degree.
